Hi Rhoda,
I was able to read through some of your blog posts. I can't believe just how harmful this disease can be! It touches so many people. You mentioned you and your readers find some sunshine from time to time. That is what I hope to bring to the discussion. I have a new EPA non-toxic disinfectant to tell you about. It is called IV-7. It uses the power of Silver to kill harmful germs, bacteria, and viruses. It is completely safe, colorless, and odorless. It is safe around babies, children, adults, food, pets, and virtually every surface. You can visit http://www.dbrush.iv-7direct.com/ for more information or please feel free to call (866.670.2334 x236) or email me with any questions about this revolutionary new product (the first new technology disinfectant approved by the EPA in more than 30 years!) It kills MRSA completely in 2 short minutes!

I, too am a surviver of MRSA. I had a tooth extracted from a Maxilofacial surgeon in Joplin, MO who allowed his tech to remove what was to be "sterile" instruments that were to be used during the procedure. People who are immune suppressed and are "VERY INFATIC" with those who are caring for them and advised them and others about their situation, but the medical personnel ignore the information because they are so consumed with their title and the money they are charging, and making that they cause others to become infected and enventually cost people their careers, family, and almost their lives. I believe the CDC as well as JCHO should make hospitals, clinics, and any medical facility keep records of the number of patients who become or have contracted MRSA within their facility, not to mention more knowledge being supplied to the public about this. This comes from someone who worked in the medical field and misses her career very much.

I believe the only reason newspeople be stating that MRSA is a gay disease, which is a load of crap, is to make them selves feel better because if in their mind they are thinking that only the gay community is getting MRSA they don't have to worry about this disease.

Anyways... I am also glad it is getting tamed down quicker.
